iFilm English TV to start airing ‘The Forbidden Fruit’

Iranian series ‘The Forbidden Fruit’ has been scheduled to go on playlist of iFilm English TV Channel.

Airing of the series, produced by Esmaeel Afifeh and directed by Hassan Fathi, is to be started on November 6, 2023.

‘The Forbidden Fruit’ tells the story of a severely religious businessman whose faith is being put to question after he meets a young girl who is in desperate need of his help.

His once perfect life collapses in front of his eyes as he realizes the pretense that is threatening his reputation, faith and family.

Among the cast list are Ammar Tafti, Hanieh Tavassoli, Amir Jafari, Tannaz Tabatabaee, Gohar Kheirandish, Ali Nasiriyan, Nima Raeesi, Hormoz Hedayat, Kazem Balouchi, Shabnam Farshadjou, Sediqeh Kianfar, Kianoush Gerami, and Javad Ensafi.

‘The Forbidden Fruit’, produced in 2007, is to replace the series ‘The Warped Interpretation of a Dream’ to be broadcast at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. ‘The Forbidden Fruit’ is comprised of 31 segments.
